What does my ticket include?

The cost of the ticket is £90.

This includes camping, a meal on each of the Friday and Saturday nights. Also it gives you access to a covered space where you can erect a pole lathe or carry out your carving.

A large pile of fresh wood for turning and carving will be available for your use.

A large communal area with an open fire for cooking as well as hot water and tea and coffee facilities will always be available.

We have limited recycling facilities so are operating a zero waste policy asking that any non compostible rubbish be taken away with you upon leaving.

All courses are extra.

Where can I stay?

The Gathering ticket price includes camping on site. The site is an organic farm and as such is basic in its facilities.

The nearby village offers a guest house and other hotels and B&Bs are available nearby. Click link below for details.

The toilets on site are compost toilets. One is a sit down the other is a squat

Water is provided on the main site but is drawn from a well and so is limited to drinking water. Washing up facilities are provided near to the main fire.

Can I bring a dog?

Unfortunately you cannot bring your dog.

The gathering is held on a working farm, We have sheep and chickens roaming free range so we don’t feel like it is appropriate.

Also there is a lot of food being served and we know how cheeky dogs can be. Sorry but easier all round.

When is it on?

Courses start running on Friday the 25th of April. If you are booked onto one of these then you can arrive onsite Thursday Evening.

More courses will run on the Saturday and the Sunday.

If you are coming to hang out, chat and make bowls then you can arrive from the Thursday evening also.

If you are booked on to a course then you will need to be onsite at least an hour before the start of that course.

Can I park on site?

The site is very small and can only take a limited no. of vehicles. Some vehicles may be asked to park at a council car park 1/4 mile away after unloading.
