Come turn a natural edge bowl with Geoff Hannis this Northern Bowl.
These are bowls turned 'the wrong way up' resulting in a ring of bark remaining around the rim.
These bowls are a little easier on the axing part of the process, but a little trickier on the turning. It is advised that attendees have turned at least ten bowls on a pole lathe before coming on this course to get the most out of the day.
As some of the work mirrors a normal bowl it'll give you a good chance to quiz Geoff on certain aspects that you are struggling with in your bowls, so as such, this can be seen as an improvers workshop too!
A lunch of soup and bread is provided.
